Internet speed for the end user depends on the tariff chosen by him. As a rule, the more expensive the tariff, the higher it is. In practice, this speed can be very slow, but you can increase it by slightly optimizing the use of the connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Change some browser options. For example, if on Internet pages you pay more attention to text, disable the loading of images. This will significantly increase the speed of loading web pages and the comfort of viewing them. Likewise, disable the download of sound, video, animation and other multimedia elements. In addition, in order to increase the speed of web surfing, use content compression tools, for example, the Turbo function of the Opera browser. However, if content compression is enabled, some web pages (online text editors or flash media players) will stop working.
Step 2
Install a special optimizer program (for example, Ashampoo WinOptimiser) and use it to configure your Internet connection. As a rule, in the process of optimizing the connection, such programs disable the operating system services that consume traffic, and also forcibly block the startup of certain applications that connect to the Internet. Optimization can be performed both automatically and manually.
Step 3
Find out which programs are using your internet connection in the background. Typically, it is used by online radios and video streaming programs, torrent clients, download managers, and the like. In order to increase the connection speed, close all these programs or work with their settings. For example, set a download limit in the download manager and torrent client (a speed equal to 20% of the total bandwidth will suffice). In the media player, select a lower bitrate for online radio or video. As a result of these actions, the speed of connecting other programs to the Internet will noticeably increase.
