Step 1
If you want to find out your ISP's DNS server, start the command line using the Run utility in the Windows XP Start menu or in the Windows Vista or Seven search bar. Enter cmd into it and press the Enter key, after which a small black window should appear on your screen.
Step 2
Using a Latin keyboard layout, enter ipconfig / all. You should display the most complete information about the provider used, including its DNS server. Please note that at the time of this step, the LAN connection and the Internet connection must be turned on.
Step 3
To find out the DNS of your provider, go to its official website or use another reliable source of information, and then view the data regarding this information in the reference section. Also, such information is often provided on payment cards and in reference booklets provided to the company's clients.

Call the technical support service of the Internet provider you use, then go to the section for obtaining help information, if such is provided by the auto answer system, if it is not available, contact the technical support employee to obtain the information you are interested in.
Step 5
Double-click the left mouse button on your active Internet connection icon on the quick access bar in the lower right corner of the screen. You should open a small window containing information about the connection. Go to the tab with the name "Details" and view the data of the used DNS server. Also, you can find DNS data on various sites dedicated to the help information of Internet providers.
