When you reply to another user in one of the discussions or on the VKontakte wall, you can make a link to the person, which will immediately attract his attention. For this, special scripts are provided in the social network.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the id of the account to create a link to it. Just go to the page of the desired user and click on the address bar. Copy the profile identifier, which will look like id123456 … or a word in Latin if the user created a personal short address.
Step 2
Use a script that allows you to link to a person on VKontakte. It looks like: [Link address | Link text]. Replace the Link Address parameter with the page ID you copied, and in the Link Text, provide a short description. As a result, you will receive a direct link to a specific VKontakte profile, which you can use during correspondence or to mention a person in your own posts. Instead of the user page identifier, you can also specify a link to any available group or public of a social network, as well as a photo, video or music album.
Step 3
Click on the "Reply" button if you want to leave a comment for a specific user during a discussion with several people. There is such a button under almost all the records of VKontakte users. In this case, your message will begin by addressing the person by the name specified in their profile. Also, you can simply leave your comment under one of the users in order to attract attention to yourself.
Step 4
Try pressing the "*" key (an asterisk on your keyboard) while writing a message. You will see a list of your friends, from which you can select the desired person by making a link to him. In the same way, you can leave a link to the dialog list, group, etc.
