How to create a friend in Minecraft without mods
Fortunately, this game has an option (though available only in version 1.4.2) that allows you to create a virtual friend. This is done in several different ways, and in one case, even no additional plugins are required. Of course, a friend created with his own hand will not look like the semi-mythical Carlson living on the roof (especially since a special mod is needed for a propeller in Minecraft).
The skeleton and zombies have a significant drawback - they burn in the sunlight. However, paradoxically, a friend created on their basis will be quite resistant to the effects of a daylight.
It will look like an ordinary gamer character, but at the same time it is made on the basis of a skeleton or a zombie (the former, however, are preferable). For a start, it's better to switch to creative mode so that eggs for summoning various mobs appear in your inventory. Then build a wall of two or three cubes in height and an area of about five by five squares from solid blocks (for example, stone) on a flat area. You need to throw a sword and various armor there, with the exception of the helmet - instead of it, the standard "miner" head will go (it will also appear in the inventory in creative mode).
Having completed such preparations, you need to switch to the night (this is done in the menu) and with the help of an egg summon a skeleton into the above fenced space - better than several, so that at least one of them will surely transform into a friend in gameplay. This will certainly happen when the mob picks up and puts on the armor and the head-helmet. After such transformations, he will follow on the heels of the gamer who created him.

However, such a friend can hardly be considered a full-fledged companion in the gameplay. His power will help to carry out various tasks in Minecraft (including in battles), but normal communication with him will not work.
