There are many ways to earn a Minecraft ban on a multiplayer resource. In order for the admins to assign a similar punishment to the player, it will be enough for him to insult others in the chat or grief in other ways. However, the ban is often overtaken by mistake. Is there a way to rid yourself of it?
Banned by mistake or in fairness
It would be difficult to list all the options for actions after which users can earn a ban on various multiplayer Minecraft resources. However, they usually boil down to grief behavior: insults in the chat, destruction of other people's buildings, appropriation of other players' virtual property, etc. The punishment for such unseemly acts will be well deserved.
However, the ban is not always fair. It often happens that griefers substitute innocent users by registering under nicknames that are visually similar to those that belong to completely abiding gamers (the difference will be only in a couple of letters or replacing them with similarly spelled numbers). Hooligans use the whole arsenal of possible disgusting actions - from verbal swearing to causing material damage to others. In the end, they often ban the very person whom the griffing players were trying to bring under such punishment.
However, it also happens in another way. Sometimes a beginner (and therefore inexperienced in such things) administrator of his own multi-user resource experiences the possibilities of different types of ban. He manages to impose them on his character, and then remove them - not always. So he begins to turn to various Minecraft forums, where more experienced gamers and administrators tell him how to remove the undeservedly imposed punishment.
Ways to unban yourself in the game
Unbanning yourself can be easy enough under certain circumstances. If the banned player himself has administrator rights, he should simply open the server documents. Among them, there are certainly two files - banned-ips and banned-players. They both contain tables. In the first case, it contains the address of the banned gamer, and in the second, the nickname that he uses in the game.
Having found himself in this list, the administrator should simply destroy the corresponding line. This method usually works flawlessly, but with a small caveat: such manipulations should be performed when the server is off (you need to stop it by entering / stop in the console). Upon completion of this kind of action, it must be restarted - after which you can return to the gameplay, since the ban will most likely be lifted.
If there is no access to the server files, a special command is required. You just need to write to the console / pardon and indicate your own nickname separated by a space. After that, the user who has administrative powers and is undeservedly banned will receive forgiveness and the opportunity to return to the game.
In situations where he does not have such rights, he should contact the administration of the game resource where he was banned. Usually, the contact details of the server owners are listed on its home page. However, it happens that such information is not there. Then it is better to ask your friends to intercede on this matter. Let them write to the admins on the forum or through some other means of feedback about what happened to their gamer friend and ask them to remove the ban. If it turns out that the banned user really does not deserve to be deprived of access to the game, the punishment will certainly be removed from him.
