The password should not be difficult for you, but for potential crackers. Confuse not yourself but others. No matter how long and tricky your secret word is, always leave yourself a path to escape. To do this, a number of sites invite you to come up with a secret question, by answering which you can recover your forgotten password. Do not neglect such opportunities if you are going to invent a complex cipher.

Avoid using simple, well-known information in passwords: dates of birth, initials, the name of your favorite dog, the name of your favorite vacation spot. The words that you choose for a complex password should not only not be known to people, they should not be associated with your person at all. For example, if you are a pianist, you are more likely to compose ciphers from words that are somehow related to music, piano, and so on. Avoid such words.

Use spaces if your site settings allow. Better to put a space in unexpected places. If your password is "love_ mom", then "cut" one of these words with a space: "love_lumamu".

Pay attention to the meaning of the password. Better get him out of some professional field that is completely alien to you. Use words that relate to what you hate: you get turned on by fantasy, and you put the name of some fantasy hero to protect your computer. Yes, at first you will be disgusted. Just start taking this name as a bunch of letters, completely meaningless, and then things will go smoothly. For safety's sake, such a sacrifice can be made.

If you can, invent a long password into which you cram all of the above techniques: the name of the cat in combination with the beginning of the war, and the name of the vile hero of the disgusting book, and a space in the most unexpected place … But remember: if such a password is still born, you should handle it as carefully as possible. You need to remember it, because if you write it down on a piece of paper, then the attacker, having discovered it, will instantly crack all your secrets. Therefore, fantasize to the best of your ability.
