Applying makeup to the skin is a fairly common art. Although it requires a certain skill, most women do it. It is much more difficult to apply a make-up in Photoshop: the process of editing a photo takes more time and requires more care from the photographer.

Instructions

Step 1

Even out the subject's complexion before applying makeup. To do this, duplicate the layer by pressing the "Ctrl-J" combination. Apply a blur to a new layer: menu "Filter" - group "Blur", command "Gaussian Spot".

Step 2

Turn off the bottom layer and use a soft eraser to erase lips, eyes and hair. Only the skin should remain. Set the layer's opacity to 70%

Step 3

Hold down the "Shift" key, select both layers and press the "Ctrl-E" combination. The layers will connect, the skin will become smooth.

Step 4

Select the lips with the Polygonal Lasso Tool. Create another new layer and open the Image menu. Next select "Edit" - "Color / Saturation". Set the options you want.

Step 5

Erase any excess around the lips with an eraser so that the lipstick does not go beyond the lips. Set the Opacity to 70%. Align the layers.

Step 6

Use the Oval Marker Tool to select the pupils. After selecting the first pupil press “Shift” and select the second one.

Step 7

Create a new layer. Select the command at "Image" - "Editing" - "Levels". Adjust the colors to suit your artistic intent. Remove excess with an eraser. Align the layers.

Step 8

Activate the first layer and select the lids with the Polygonal Lasso. Create a new layer and fill the selection with a color that matches the artistic purpose. Make the blur a Gaussian blur, radius two pixels. Align with the base.

Step 9

Change the blending mode to "Hue". Create a new layer. Apply the blush with a brush (brownish orange, light) to the cheekbones and cheeks. You can go over the edges a little. Make a blur with a diameter of about 20 pixels. Remove the excess with an eraser, switch to “Color” mode. Align the layers. Makeup is ready.
