Step 1
If, for any reason, a restriction is imposed on the opening of the Internet Explorer browser by the computer administrator, check if you still have access to the operating system registry editor. To do this, go to the "Run" system utility menu in the "Start" menu and enter regedit into it, after which you should see an editor window. Go to the directory for editing browser settings using the search in the editor with the keyword Internet Explorer.

Unlock its launch by editing the values back to their original values. Please note that often the launch of the editor is also limited by security settings. In this case, you can work around this limitation by calling the help that opens when you press the F1 key in the browser, and then enter the address of the page you want to visit in the Internet Explorer that opens.

If the launch of the Internet Explorer browser is blocked by viruses or other malicious programs, use the Dr. Web Cure IT utility to clean your computer from them.
