It is actually technically possible to upload animations to sites where this is not possible with the terms of the site. Usually, in such cases, the site administration simply disables the ability to load dynamic images. Such restrictions are imposed on the uploading of avatars by many forums, as well as the VKontakte website on the placement of animation on the walls of users.
Instructions
Step 1
To bypass the restrictions, it is enough to change the file extension. All dynamic Windows drawings, or animations, have the *.gif extension, while static images have the *.jpg
Step 2
In file managers, file names are displayed with an extension, for example, "Photo0001.jpg". In the case of an animated image, in the Windows environment, that is, in ordinary folders, the file may be called "Animation", and in the file manager it will be called "Animation.gif".
Step 3
Now, using the standard editing options in Total Commander or any other file manager, select "Rename" and edit the file extension by specifying "jpeg" after the dot instead of "gif". After that, save the resulting file and try to upload it to the server. The animation should be displayed. If instead of animation you see only its first frame, try using the extensions “jpg”, “png”, “bmp” and others.
