The ICQ program is a messenger, a program for instant exchange of fairly voluminous messages, files and even SMS. The ease of use has made the app popular with millions of users. Messages are sent in it according to the following algorithm.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch the program, log in, wait until the contact list is fully loaded.
Step 2
To send a message to a user from your contact list, click on the list to activate it. Select a contact and double-click to expand the message box.
Step 3
The upper field will display the correspondence. Click on the bottom to write your message. Next, enter the text using the keyboard and press the "Enter" button, or the combination "Ctrl-Enter", or the button for sending a message next to the field.
Step 4
To send a file, click the “send file” button, indicated by a floppy disk icon. In the window that appears, find the file you want to send, double-click on it. When the user accepts the file, wait until the transfer is complete.
Step 5
To send SMS via ICQ, open the “SMS” tab in the contact list. Enter the name and phone number, then the message text. Click the "Submit" button.
