Step 1
In order to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus, you need a special activation key. You can buy it from a store or download it for free online.

If you buy a key, you will spend a certain amount of money, but you will be perfectly comfortable using it for two years. If you decide to download it for free from the network, then you must not forget that on any fine day it can be blacklisted, and you will have to look for another. Therefore, think carefully and make your choice.

First of all, open the antivirus window. In the taskbar, left-click on the red letter "K" once. If it is not there, then click on the "Show hidden icons" button.

Then try running the key from the taskbar near the clock. You should see the main window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus, where you need to select the "License" tab. If you had any keys installed beforehand, you need to uninstall them now. To do this, click the "Merge / Remove" button in the antivirus window, then in the window that appears, click on "Remove key".
Step 5
Now you do not have any keys installed, and Kaspersky will immediately say “License not found”. Click "Activate Application" and you will immediately get an activation window. Select "Activate with a key", click the "Browse" button and you will see a new window.

Then find the key, select it and click on the "Open" button. If everything is in order with the key, then you will see all the information about it and will be able to activate it. Click "Activate", wait a bit and click "Finish".
Step 7
Do not forget that sometimes the antivirus may say that the key is not suitable. Usually it may be unusable if it is blacklisted, expired, or simply intended for a different version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus. In this case, try downloading a new key and repeat the activation procedure again.
