However, for an employee there is at least one way to reduce such friction to a minimum - to prevent them from being found traveling on the worldwide network. This can be done using a special plug-in for the Google Chrome browser.
Instructions
Step 1
Open Google Chrome and open the extensions menu. This can be done in two ways. First, click on the wrench button located in the upper right corner of the program, and then select Tools> Extensions. Second - again, click on the wrench button, then "Options" and select the "Extensions" tab.
Step 2
If your browser has not yet installed any extensions, in the center of the menu you will see the inscription “No extensions installed. Want to see the gallery? " The words "view gallery" will have a hyperlink, click on it. If Google Chrome already has any extensions, there will be a "More extensions" hyperlink at the bottom of the list, click on it. The Chrome Web Store opens.
Step 3
In the search bar at the top left of the page, type Boss Key and Button and press Enter. Find the Boss Key and Button extension in the search results and click on the blue Install button to the right of it. A window will appear warning that the extension being installed can access your personal data on all websites, as well as tabs and browsing logs. If you click "Cancel" in it, the installation will stop. If you agree to continue, click Install. Upon completion of the installation, a notification will appear in the upper right corner of the program.
Step 4
Open the extensions menu again using one of the methods indicated in the first step of the instruction. Click on the "Settings" button next to the Boss Key and Button extension. In this menu, you can adjust the installed extension as needed. The Enable Boss Key item allows you to set a key (or key combination) to hide the browser: you can choose from F12, Alt- ’and“+”on the“numpad”.
Step 5
In addition, to hide the browser, you can use the mouse (item Enable Mouse): right-click or double-click with the right button. If you check the box next to Hide Window, then the browser will be minimized to the lower right corner of the program, if removed, a new tab will appear, the address of which is specified in the Cover URL: https:// item. If you want the browser to appear when you press the Shift + F12 hotkeys, check the box next to the Not use Restore Button item. To save your changes, click on the Save button. After minimizing, a small window with the Restore button will appear in the lower right corner of the monitor, click on it to make the browser appear again.
