On an unbearably hot summer day, you really want to have a device that will itself create comfortable conditions for work and rest. However, buying an air conditioner is not a tricky business. It is much more difficult to install it.

Step 1
First of all, lead a separate wiring to the air conditioner and put a separate machine in the electrical panel, whatever the power of the device. Old wiring may not withstand strong stress and catch fire. If your house was built before 1990, then the wiring will definitely not cope with the load.
Step 2
Now you need to install the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. To do this, drill special holes for the brackets that will hold the block. In the event that you install the air conditioner on an open balcony, there will be no problems with it - just attach the bracket with bolts.
Step 3
If the balcony is glazed, then your air conditioner will not have enough air to work, it will break down too quickly.
Step 4
If you want to hang the block on the wall, especially on the upper floors, then invite specialists for this work - such brackets must be very strong, and only specially trained people can work at high heights.
Step 5
If you live on the lower floor, then place the outdoor unit at least two meters above the ground and hide it in a special cage, otherwise there is a danger that the unit will be stolen.
Step 6
Next, you need to install the indoor unit. First, attach special brackets to the wall or ceiling (depending on the type of unit) using screws. Check carefully how firmly the structure is held.
Step 7
Never install the split system above heat sources, in a room where there are devices that emit high-frequency electromagnetic oscillations, above a bed, sofa or workplace (this is fraught with a cold), where there are some obstacles to the free passage of air …
Step 8
Wires and freon tubes between the blocks must be connected. To do this, punch gutters in the walls and ceiling. This process is called strobing. Instead, you can hide all the wires and tubes under plastic boxes or skirting boards, but this must be done using connecting fittings.
Step 9
Check how your split system works with a special test program. If the system is working properly and does not vibrate, then everything is done correctly.
Step 10
Since the installation of an air conditioner is associated with the cultivation of terrible dirt, the next item is to put things in order after it. Installers must have special cleaning tools, and if they refuse to pick up rubbish, remind them that this is included in the installation price.
