Downloading the video was not easy
A few years ago, it was possible to listen to music or watch a video on the VKontakte social network only on the page, which caused a lot of inconvenience to users. After all, many wanted to transfer their favorite songs and videos to their computer, phone and enjoy them without being on the Internet.
That is why various applications and programs began to appear on the network, with the help of which it was allegedly possible to download any songs and films from VKontakte. But to take advantage of this opportunity, often had to shell out a certain amount of money. In addition, very often such programs hid all sorts of viruses that often steal personal data of site users, their login and password.
VKMusic 4 to help those who are "VKontakte"
Later, there were official applications for downloading music and videos from VKontakte. One of these programs is VKMusic 4, small but very functional, the so-called two in one. With its help, you can save both music and video files to your computer. To work with it, you only need to install the program on your computer and run it when you decide to download a video from VKontakte.
After that, a hint will open in the working window of the program, with the help of which you can learn how to download music and video from the site, how to download video from links and a lot of other useful information. If you do not need additional help and advice, close this window and go to the main menu.
In the upper toolbar there is a section "Download", in the drop-down window of which you can start all downloads available on the site, pause them, rename them, copy links and URLs. The following sections are available in the VKontakte menu: “My audio recordings”, “Audio recordings of friends / groups”, “Music recommendations”, “Popular music”, “My videos”, “Video recordings of friends / groups”, “Download a photo album from a contact”, “Download photos with me”and others.
To record a video, you will need the items "My Videos" or "Videos of Friends / Groups", depending on where the required videos are located. Select the section you need, and the program will automatically find all available clips. Mark the necessary videos (for this use the mouse and the Shift button on the keyboard) and click the "Add to download" button located to the left of the list.
Then specify the folder where you want to save the video file and click "Accept". Now all you have to do is select the quality and format of the saved file (you can use the "Choose the best" button) and wait until the download process is completed.
You can also add links to videos that you are going to save to your computer into the program.
