While surfing the web, you can come across information that is on a foreign site. Often these sites do not have a language switcher. In this case, Google translator comes in handy, which can be integrated into the Opera browser.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a restore point. Go to the Start menu and search for "Restore Point". Click on "Create a restore point". In the dialog box that appears, click Configure. Select "Restore system settings and previous versions of files." Click Apply and OK. Then click on "Create". Enter a name for the restore point and wait for the operation to complete. This is necessary in case any problems arise as a result of your actions.
Step 2
Go to Google Translate. After that, click on the link "Website translator". Go to the "Translate text using the button on the browser toolbar" section. Select the language pair you need, then click on the link and drag it to the browser panel. If the button does not appear on it, go to the next step.
Step 3
Click on the language pair you need with the right mouse button, then select "Copy link". Create a new text file and copy the link into it. Save the text with a.js extension. Be sure to include a language pair in the title, for example, EnRu.
Step 4
In the Opera browser, open the settings menu and go to the "Advanced" menu. Click on the "Content" item, then - "JavaSctipt Options". The path to user files will open in front of you. Open the folder where they are located, and then copy the file that you created in the previous step into it.
Step 5
Restart your browser. Enter javascript: filename in the address bar, where filename is the name of the file you created. Drag the icon that appears on the panel using the mouse. Now you can translate entire websites with one click.
Step 6
Keep in mind that this type of translation will not give you the ideal website meaning. The translator can confuse different meanings of one word and, because of this, translate incorrectly. For a deeper translation, use specialized websites, for example, the MultiTran service.
