Long gone are the days when it was possible to listen to radio only through a radio receiver - today every person with access to the Internet can not only listen to any radio station through the network, but also create their own broadcasting point of any topic. Making a network radio with high-quality and uninterrupted broadcasting is not as difficult as it seems - for this you need a server, as well as programs that will simulate a DJ console.

Instructions

Step 1

First, download the server for broadcasting - SHOUTcast Server, unpack the archive and install the program. Then open the Program Files directory and select the SHOUTcast folder in it. Inside the folder, find the sc_serv.exe executable file and run it.

Step 2

Now that the server is running, download and install Sam Broadcast 3, which simulates a DJ console and gives you tons of possibilities for working with tracks for broadcasting. Also, for this program to work correctly, download Mysql. After that, open Start and click on the "Run" section. In the line that appears, enter cmd to invoke the command line.

Step 3

Then, in a new window, enter the cd C: mysqlbin command and then the mysqld command to start the corresponding service. After finishing the Mysql installation, proceed to the Sam Broadcast installation. During installation, select the MySql database to create the table system, and also ensure that MySql is running during installation.

Step 4

Run the program and scan the folders on your computer to track down which directories there are music files in. After scanning the required folders, add music tracks to the program's database. After that, configure the program - to do this, select the Config option. In the Station Details section, enter any text describing your radio station, and then uncheck the Show station details on AudioRealm.com checkbox.

Step 5

In the Statistic Relays section, select the Shoutcast Statistic Relay option and enter the following information:

Host: localhost

Port: 8000

Password: *****. To change the password, open the sc_serv.ini file in the Shoutcast directory and edit it. Check the box next to Private Relay.

Step 6

Now add mp3 and mp3pro encoder in the Encoder section, set the appropriate format and playback quality, depending on the speed and quality of your internet channel, and finally, enter the server address and port in the Server Details section.

Step 7

Start the server and then in the program open the Desktop B option. Click on the Encoder and press the start button to synchronize the DJ console with the server. In the Desktop A option, launch the desired music files by selecting them and pressing the Play key.
