If you want to have a dedicated static IP-address, fill out the application form for the corresponding document at the provider's office or at home. If your ISP uses a simplified option to provide their customers with a dedicated IP address, visit their official website from your computer. Enter your username and password and enter your personal account. Fill out the required form on the supplier's website and submit an application electronically to assign you a static IP address.
Step 4
Use another way to get a dedicated IP address. Call the contact number of the technical support service for users specified in the contract or on the official resource of the provider, and submit the corresponding application orally. Inform the operator of your intention to obtain a different type of IP address and wait for his response.
Step 5
Remember that the service of switching from one type of network address to another can be provided by your Internet service provider, either free of charge or for a fee. When receiving a dedicated IP-address, carefully read the tariffs, the availability and the amount of the monthly subscription fee for the service.
