The Yota provider provides wireless Internet access using LTE technology. In order to use the service, you need to connect and activate special equipment.
It is necessary
- - antenna or USB-modem Yota;
- - a computer with Windows XP or higher;
- - bootable CD-ROM.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the Yota antenna or USB modem to your computer. This equipment will be provided by the provider after the conclusion of the client agreement. As soon as you plug it in, the system will prompt you to install the drivers on the device. Insert the included bootable CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. If you have activated automatic driver installation, the system will search for it on the disk immediately. To manually install the driver, specify the root directory of the boot disk as the destination folder.
Step 2
Install the Yota Access program. To do this, open the AutoInstall.exe file in the root directory of the boot disk. Follow the instructions of the program to complete the installation successfully. Once launched, the program will automatically connect to the WiMax network. If this does not happen, most likely your computer is outside the coverage area of the provider. Check the instructions on the provider's website or call support to find out the nature of the problem. If the procedure is successful, you will see the message "Connected with restrictions".
Step 3
Go to the website of the Yota provider and enter your personal account. Follow the hardware activation link. You will be prompted to select a tariff and a payment method. If you do not define them immediately, after the activation is completed, you will be given a day of free use of the Internet, after which you will need to deposit funds into your account. Go through the registration procedure. After activating and paying for the Yota Internet connection, disconnect and reconnect the device used to connect to the network. In some cases, you may also need to restart your computer. Now, immediately after connecting a modem or antenna, the system will automatically connect to the wireless Internet.
