The org.ua domain is one of those, for the registration of which you do not need to pay. However, it is possible to evaluate all the advantages of this Ukrainian Internet zone only with non-commercial use. It does not matter whether the domain will be registered by a private or legal entity.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose your domain. It's not enough to come up with a name, you need to check if someone else has taken it. To do this, use the service from https://www.hostmaster.net.ua. In the upper left corner of the site, in the "Search for a domain" section, click the "Advanced search" link. In the "Domain search" window that opens, enter the desired name of the future resource. If it is free, you should see the inscription No entries found for domain domain_name
Step 2
Register a nic-handle - an entry in the domain owner database. To do this, go to the website https://uanic.com.ua/. In the menu, find the section "Registration of an entry about a private person". Fill in the required fields in the table that opens and click the Send button. A window will appear in which it will be written that you have been assigned a nic-handle. It is necessary in order to get into the account for further work with the domain.
Step 3
Choose a hosting. For the website to function fully, the domain must be delegated (i.e. tied) to a specific hosting. This is the place on the server where all the data and files of your Internet resource are located. It is not difficult to choose the best option, it is important to correlate the needs (the amount of information on the site, the number of videos and images, the traffic of visitors) with the budget that you can allocate.
Step 4
Configure DNS. DNS is a special service that converts a numeric address to an alphabetic one. Some services provide paid DNS registration services, but you can find free options as well. For example, https://xname.org. To do this, on the site, go to the Create a new user section and enter the necessary information into the form.
Step 5
Make a request to register your chosen domain name. Step 6
Send a letter to the mailbox [email protected]. Registration can take a couple of hours or last several days.
