Each computer connected to the Internet has its own IP - a unique network address. Sometimes an Internet user does not want information about his network address to be recorded in the logs of the resources he has visited. In this case, protection methods are used to hide the real address.

Step 1
IP is dynamic and static. In the first case, each time you connect to the Internet, the computer is assigned a new network address from the currently available ones. If someone wants to figure you out by such an IP, he will only be able to find out your provider. Information about who used this ip at a certain time, the provider can give out only at the request of law enforcement agencies.
Step 2
The situation is more complicated with static IP. When visiting websites, chatting on forums, etc., each time you leave information about your address. Your IP does not change, so an attacker, having recognized it, can methodically try to hack your computer. In this case, hiding ip becomes a completely understandable and justified action.
Step 3
To hide the IP, you can use anonymizers (cgi proxy). Using the anonymizer is simple: open its page, enter the address you need in the form. There will be a transition to the specified address, with the anonymizer becoming an intermediary between you and the resource you are viewing. Accordingly, the anonymizer's IP address remains in the logs of the visited resource.
Step 4
The second common option is to use proxy servers. A proxy server, like an anonymizer, becomes an intermediary between you and the pages you visit. Having found a working proxy, write down its address and port in the browser settings. After that, use the Internet as usual, with all connections going through a proxy server.
Step 5
The third option: use programs that hide the IP address. Examples of such programs are Tor, SocksChain (paid), JAP, Mask Surf. Using such programs is quite simple - install the program on your computer, configure it. All connections will go through the proxy servers used by the program.
