Not all services provide information in a convenient form, and not all of them determine their location with high accuracy. For example, some sites that offer to find information by IP, admit errors, indicating a city located several tens of kilometers from the user's current location. Therefore, it is recommended to use trusted resources.
Step 2
To pinpoint the city the user is in, go to www.nic.ru/whois, enter the IP address in the appropriate field and click the "OK" button. Your request will be processed and all available information will be displayed on the right side of the page, including the user's geographic location.
