The most effective way to change ping is to decrease or increase the load on the Internet access channel. This can be done by changing the number of active connections and other operations that take up the channel. So, in order to reduce ping, turn off the torrent client, stop downloading all files, close the Internet browser window. To increase it, perform the reverse operations.

Also, the ping is affected by the total load on the processor. Programs running in the background or running concurrently with the game consume a certain amount of system resources. Moreover, the load goes both to the processor and to the RAM. Accordingly, to increase ping, run several programs simultaneously with the game. Disable all resource-intensive programs to reduce latency.
When the operating system boots up, a large number of different processes are started. Open the "Task Manager" and complete those processes that you will not need in future work.

If the above methods do not solve the problem, you can change the signal delay value using the graphics settings of the game (if changing the graphics settings is supported). If you set the configuration requirements as high as possible, the computer may not cope with the assigned load (most often the main reason is a weak video card). This will lead to an increase in ping.
Reduce the graphical settings to a minimum and the ping will drop significantly. If the gameplay becomes less comfortable with decreasing the graphics settings, slightly increase the video configuration and evaluate the changes. Repeat the operation several times and find the best solution.
