Sometimes it happens that data that is often used are simply forgotten after a period of time. There can be many reasons for this. For example, using ICQ only on a computer or mobile device and without entering a password for months, it is impossible to remember it. How to be in such a situation?
Necessary
- First you need to follow the link and remember at least one of the following:

- The email address to which the ICQ number was registered.
- The answer to the secret question that was specified when the user registered in the system.
- The mobile phone number to which the UIN was registered.
Instructions
Step 1
Recover your password using only your email address.
In the first field, enter your email address and anti-spam code. After a green check mark appears on the right side of the fields, press the confirm button. If it did not appear (or an icon with a red cross appeared), then most likely you made mistakes when entering the item. Be careful and check the data again.
After successfully filling in and sending the data, go to your email. There you will receive a letter with instructions to reset your password, where you will need to click on the link provided and, going to the ICQ website page, enter a new password for your account.
Step 2
Recover your password using the answer to the security question that you provided during registration.
In the first field, enter your UIN, and in the bottom - a special code of protection against robots. After the green checkmarks appear on the left, press the confirmation button. You will be taken to a new page, where the service will ask a secret question, the answer to which you should remember if you paid special attention to this when registering. Fill in all the fields by analogy with the previous steps and you can change the password by clicking on a special link from your e-mail.
Step 3
Recover your password using the specified phone number during registration.
In complete analogy with the previous step, enter your phone number and security code from robots in the first and second fields, respectively. If the data is correct, and your mobile is found in the ICQ database, then an SMS notification with a new password will be sent to your phone.
