Copywriting is not the only way to sell works on the Internet. In addition to texts, you can also trade images. For this, sites called microstocks serve.

Step 1
Understand the difference between the terms "photobank" and "microstock". A photobank can be any service that allows you to distribute photographs or other images for a fee or free of charge. Microstock is the only name for such a photo bank, in which non-professional photographers are allowed to participate. If it is paid, then the fees in it are noticeably lower than in a professional photo bank, but the quality requirements are also underestimated to such an extent that they make it possible to do without studio equipment.

Get a high-quality digital camera - at least a used one, but with not only a large matrix, but also good optics (it is for the second reason that a cell phone, even with a 5-megapixel camera, is of little use for making pictures for sale). If your work proves to be effective, this investment will pay off quickly, because the better the pictures are, the more likely they will be purchased. Novice photographers are not recommended to buy a DSLR right away - in inexperienced hands it will shoot even worse than usual. You can invest in a DSLR later, when you have accumulated experience and funds.

If you want to get started without investing in a camera up front, find a site where you can sell computer graphics. Become familiar with one of the computer imaging programs. It is better to start with the free Inkscape package, and after accumulating funds from the sale of images, you can buy a paid program Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator (or invest these funds in a camera and start selling photographs instead of computer graphics).

Find out which images are best selling on the microstock where you intend to work. It is these pictures or pictures that you put up for sale most often. When creating works, fully comply with the requirements for them. Since the royalty for a photo is determined by its resolution, do not artificially reduce it, unless this allows you to hide shooting defects. And in no case try to plagiarize - it will definitely be detected and suppressed. Even if you are not prosecuted, the ability to sell images on the site where you were convicted of plagiarism will be closed to you forever. Do not let protected works, including architecture, fall into the frame. In addition to copyright, observe the right to the image of a citizen, regulated by article 152.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. Some sites prohibit the sale of images of items with highly visible trademarks - in this case, remove the logos from the images.
