Sometimes there are situations when you want to delete an e-mail box. For example, you want to register a new e-mail address, switch to another mail service, or just too much spam arrives at your current mail.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the site where you have a registered mailbox. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields to enter your account. Click on the Settings link (it may also look like a commonly used gear icon). Find the item "Delete mailbox" (the name may vary slightly). After that, read the consequences of deleting the mailbox and confirm that you want to delete it. The email inbox has now been deleted.
Step 2
If, for some reason, you could not find the option to delete it in the mailbox settings, or if this feature is simply not there, use the help of the mail service. Typically, the related Help topic contains instructions for deleting a mailbox. They can be a sequence of actions that you need to follow, or a special link, by clicking on which you can start the procedure for deleting an e-mail box.
Step 3
If you were unable to find information on deleting a mailbox in the help section, find the technical support email address on the website. Write to this address a letter with a request to delete your email inbox. Additionally, in the letter, you can indicate the reasons why you decided to do this.
