Skype is designed for voice communication, but sometimes you need to send a link to a web page through it. It can be dictated by voice, shown using the camera, and also sent to the interlocutor in the form of a text message.
Instructions
Step 1
To find out the address of a link, move the mouse pointer over it. The address will appear in the lower left corner of the browser. To dictate it without mistakes, name the Latin letters as is customary in a foreign language familiar to the interlocutor (English, German, French, etc.).
Step 2
If you are chatting on Skype using a webcam, aim its lens at the lower left corner of the browser so that the other person can see it. If the camera does not have a focusing regulator, bring a regular magnifying glass to the lens. You can also copy the link to the clipboard (right mouse button - "Copy image address"). After that, open a text editor, place the link in a new document (Ctrl-V), increase the font to the desired size and show the interlocutor using the camera.
Step 3
You can also send the link via Skype using a text message. To do this, place the mouse pointer over the interlocutor's name in the contact list, right-click and select the "Send message" or similar item from the menu (the exact name depends on the version). Place the link in the input field (Ctrl-V) and submit it.
Step 4
Some versions of Skype do not support text messaging. In this case, instead of the local client, use the IMO service located at the following address: https://imo.im/ Disable the local client if it was open. Select the Skype icon among the logos on the home page, enter your username and password, and a familiar list of contacts will be displayed. Double click on the desired one, and then a dialog box will appear, as in instant messaging services, for example, ICQ or Jabber. Place the link in the input field and press the Enter key - it will be sent to the interlocutor. Do not try to connect to the Skype service from a local client and through the IMO service at the same time.
