Having given preference to this option, people in most cases choose between the most popular CMS - Joomla and Drupal.

Evaluate your experience in creating sites and the level of knowledge in this area. Perhaps already at this stage you will be able to make a choice. Drupal is intended for advanced users who are familiar with PHP and are willing to spend a lot of time manually setting up their site. This CMS is quite complex, although it is still easier to use than to write a website yourself from scratch. Joomla, on the other hand, is aimed primarily at beginners. It's easy to work with this CMS.
Step 2
Consider your level of English. Joomla documentation is almost completely translated into Russian, so it's pretty easy to find answers to your questions about this CMS. Drupal documentation is mainly written in English, only some of the sections have been translated, so you will have to look for solutions to some problems on the forums, or you will have to translate the corresponding sections of the help yourself.
Step 3
Decide how high the level of the site should be. Drupal is much more powerful than Joomla. This CMS is great for creating both business card sites and complex online stores with advanced functionality. Joomla is less efficient in this regard and gives less chance of the original project being implemented. In general, CMS Drupal is focused primarily on designers and programmers who use a flexible engine to create a unique, beautiful, fast-loading site, while Joomla is more suitable for content managers who focus on filling pages, and not on the originality of their design.

Pay attention to the difference in the code. Drupal has a relatively simple, well-structured and understandable code that the user can change if necessary, adjusting the engine for himself. The Joomla code is much more complex and has more flaws, which can affect the security and performance of the site, albeit only slightly. If you don't edit the code, this point is unlikely to be meaningful to you.
