Instructions

Step 1

The principles of internet backgammon are the same as in the board game, except that players do not need to rearrange their chips. The advantages of a virtual game are also that you can play with opponents from all over the world, communicating with them via text or even video chat. Internet backgammon is available to players 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you just need to log into the network and download the game. There is always a free player online who is ready for a tournament.

Step 2

To play online, you need to register. Select the site you like on the Internet. If you are playing for real money, open a deposit by first reading the terms and conditions. Read carefully the lines of the agreement and the percentage of the commission that you will pay on the winnings. Registration is usually straightforward, follow the directions and come up with a unique nickname.

Step 3

Some sites require downloading and installing the custom part on your computer. However, there are those where you don't need to download anything, just go to the site and play. The funds won can be received in several ways: through an electronic (virtual wallet) or real payment system (plastic cards), cash, etc. commissions. And, of course, with the rules of the game itself, if you have never played a tabletop analogue.

Step 4

The main goal of the participant in the game is to expose all the checkers from the board. Whoever does it first will win. Backgammon is played by two players, each initially having 15 checkers at his disposal. The move is determined by the numbers dropped on two dice, "zarah". Who goes first determines the highest number on one die rolled in turn.

Step 5

At the beginning of the game, all the players' checkers are on their half of the board along the left side. This position of the checkers is called the "head", and the move of the checkers from the initial position is called "taking from the head". At the same time, you can only take one checker from the head in one move, except for the very first one, if the same number falls on two zars (two-two, three-three, six-six, etc.).

Step 6

The movement on the board goes along the "points", sharp triangles on each side, there are 24 of them in total. Depending on the dropped numbers at the dawn, the player makes a move with one or two checkers counterclockwise. To get off the board, the checker must make a certain path to its "home". For example, the numbers 4 and 2 dropped out at the dawn. A player can move four cells with one checker, the other - two or any one checker 6 cells. If a double fell, the player goes through the dropped out number of cells 4 times (moves).

Step 7

Each player's checkers are of two colors, usually brown and white. Each checker has its own trajectory: the brown ones move from the upper right corner to the upper left, then to the lower left and to the lower right, which is called "home". The house of the white checkers is in the upper left corner, where they fall along the route: lower left corner, lower right, upper right, and finally the house.
