Step 1
Find out what you need to do to block the Internet according to the terms of your provider. To do this, find the relevant information on the website or call the support service by phone and ask the operator a question.

Clarify how the tariffication of services is carried out in your case. Some companies require payment for the Internet at the beginning of the month, while others withdraw money from a personal account every day. In the first case, it will not make sense for you to block the Internet if you are leaving, for example, for a week in the middle of the month.

Follow the instructions. In case of temporary blocking, possible by phone, contact the contact center of the provider and be prepared to provide not only your address and surname, but also the number of the contract or personal account. You may also need a passcode if you have one. Do not forget to ask the operator about whether the blocking service will be paid for you and from what moment it will start operating.

If technically possible, block the Internet through the website of the communication company. To do this, go to your personal account and find a link to the blocking service. Set the deadline you need and confirm your decision with a click of the mouse.

Visit the provider's office in person if necessary. Take your passport and service agreement with you. Contact an employee of the company and write down, according to the provided sample, a statement on voluntary blocking of the Internet for a certain period. To prevent misunderstandings, get a copy of the application and keep it so that in the event of an unjustified accrual of funds, you have proof of your own innocence.
