Deleting a mailbox on Mail.ru consists in filling out a special form on this mail service, after which you can easily forget your old email address.
It is necessary
- - computer with Internet access;
- - web browser Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Google Chrome.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure you are connected to the internet. Next, open a web browser, enter mail.ru into its address bar and wait for the main page of the mail service to load. In the upper left corner, enter your login and password data into the authorization form and by clicking "Login", go to your mailbox.
Step 2
Pay attention to the top control panel, where the "More" submenu is located. Select the "Help" link in it and follow it to perform further actions to delete the mailbox.
Step 3
Scroll down the Mail.ru help center page and find item 11 "How to delete a mailbox that I no longer need?" Click on it. You will be prompted to use a special interface to delete a mailbox. The “special interface” link is located next to it, click on it to go to the corresponding page.
Step 4
Go to the deletion form located in the "special interface" and correctly fill in its fields, following the instructions indicated. Indicate the reason for deleting the box in the corresponding field. The reason could be "Anti-spam", "Registering a new mail address", etc. Then complete the deletion of the mailbox by clicking on the "Delete" link.
