Sometimes when you write an email, it becomes necessary to illustrate the text with a picture, diagram, table. And you need to do this directly in the body of the letter, and not add the necessary files as an attachment. A few years ago, only programmers or those who could accurately repeat their instructions were able to solve such a problem. Now everyone can insert a picture into a letter.

Instructions
Step 1
Mozilla Thunderbird email program.
We create a new message. In the message menu at the top, select the "Settings" tab. In it we find the "Format" submenu. We select the item "Formatted text (HTML)".
In the graphical menu, located under the "Subject" column, click on the icon with the image of the picture.
In the drop-down menu, select "Image".
It remains only to select the file that you want to insert into the text of the letter and click on OK.
Step 2
The Bat!
We create a new message.
Below we find the "Text only" button and click on it.
In the drop-down menu, select "HTML Only" or "HTML / Plain Text".
In the graphical menu on top, look for the "Picture" icon.
Find the file you need and insert it into the body of the letter.
Step 3
Microsoft Outlook mail program.
We create a new message.
In the letter menu at the top, select the "Format" tab.
We select the item "HTML".
In the graphical menu, click on the icon with the image of the picture and the inscription "Picture".
Select the desired file and click on OK.
In Microsoft Outlook 2007, in order to insert a picture, you will need to select the item in the upper menu "Insert". In the drop-down menu "Picture" select "Picture", find and insert the file.
Step 4
Gmail mailbox.
Today it is the only e-mail forwarding service that allows you to insert a picture into the body of an email, and not send it as an attachment.
We open the Gmail mail, create a letter.
In the upper right corner, click the "Settings" link.
In the menu that opens, select the last item "Experimental functions".
In the long list of proposed functions, we find "Insert pictures" and select "Enable".
Click on "Save Changes".
In the email template on the left, we find "Advanced Formatting". We choose.
A panel with icons appears.
Now all that remains is to click on the "Insert Image" icon, select a file and send a letter with a picture inserted into the body of the letter itself.
