A very unpleasant fact can be that the user's Internet wallet disappeared due to a computer breakdown, hacking, loss of all data about the wallet, etc. However, its restoration under certain conditions is quite feasible.
Instructions
Step 1
Different payment systems have separate features for wallet recovery. For example, if access to the Yandex wallet was lost simply due to the loss of the payment password, you can restore it either by SMS by phone (if it was linked to the account), or by a recovery code via the Internet.
Step 2
In the first case, follow the website link and order a new password by SMS. If you are not tied to the phone, then go to the corresponding link, answer the secret question that you indicated during registration, after which a message with a link will be sent to your mail. Copy the link into the browser window and indicate all the requested data - date of birth and recovery code, after which the system can give permission to change the password to a new one.
Step 3
Restoring an Internet wallet in this system is possible only if there is a backup copy on removable media or on a computer. To restore, you need to reinstall the wallet from the saved data, after which the Data and DB folders must be changed to backup ones. These actions will trigger synchronization.
Step 4
If the wallet is completely lost - i.e. there is no backup copy, funds from the lost account can be received, but only to a new wallet. However, this is only possible for those users who, when registering, indicated their correct passport data.
Step 5
In this case, write an application for a refund to a new wallet, provide its number and your own passport data. With these documents, come to the office of the company or send the document by registered mail. In the case of sending a letter, the application must be notarized.
Step 6
In the WebMoney system, when switching to another computer, access to wallets is lost. To avoid this, copy the key file with the * kwm extension to a removable medium in advance. Or, if it does not exist, create it in the menu using the "Security" tab, subsection "Save keys to file". You also need to remember the password to the key file, without which the data cannot be installed.
Step 7
When switching to another PC, you will need to reinstall the WM Keeper you are using and, having entered it using your WM ID and password, specify the path to your key file and wallet file that were previously transferred to the new computer.
